29 April - Another wet day in St. Ives.

Nev & Sid set off this morning for the Pendeen Lighthouse - its cold, its wet and windy! The sun may come out again later just like yesterday. Beautiful views over St. Ives Bay back to where he walked from yesterday by Godrevy Lighthouse.

Almost three weeks of walking done, and should be at Lands End by Friday. Need some sunshine please. Sid is feeling the damp!

  1. Hello Nev & Sid.

We've had some thunder storms up here in Frankley, and were thinking of you out there battling the elements. We hope that Sid isn't too wet.

Thanks for another card. They're all up on our display. The whole school is talking about your adventure!

    Stay nifty, Nifty NEv!

  3. Hello Nev and Sid,
We have been talking about you a lot today and looking back at your cards and letters.
We love catching up with all your news but we have been wondering what your camper van looks like.
    Enjoy Lands End.
Best wishes Anne and the children

  4. HiForestdale year 6,

Sid has had to have new boots and a mac to help keep him dry and he still complains all the time, except when the sun shines and then he gives me "A Big Bear Grin".

Tomorrow (Monday 4/May), We hope to reach Lizard Point, the furthest place South in the UK. Can any of you tell Mr Leonard the names of the places we have now passed through? It's a BIG Number, but you don't have to get all of the places - Just do your best.

  5. Hello Sidemoor Nursery,

Thank you for writing in to me and Sid. We are enjoying our 'walkies', We've almost reached 370 miles out of the 650 promised. Lands End was great but a bit wet! Sid got very soggy and his boots keep filling up with rain water. I will send a picture of our campervan just as soon as Sid tells me how to work the computer properly - I promise. Sid says he hopes you all liked the postcard picture of him in the lifeboat - he says it will make him smile if you did :-)
